I'm Deleting Blogposts

I'm cleaning house here at the Freebie Vault. I have gone thru each month from today back to July 2008 and deleted out of date posts and those with bad links. I'm finding once in a great while one file of a complete kit will have a bad link, replacing those are priority, then I'll get to the big list of emailed requests, then I'll work on older stuff.

Wow, I've made a ton of stuff in the 3 1/2 years I have been doing this (not including my blinkie days, which adds another 2 years).

I'm going to delete the archive blog. It's too much for me to keep track of. I'll just note on the blog when I revive an item that it's an older one. If I have an original post date I'll add that. If I redo the kit, I'll mention that too in case you have the older version. There's some that have papers that are only 2400 pixels.

I know it's only 6pm, but I really need to take a 20 minute power nap in order to function for the rest of the night. I'm lactose intolerant and am paying the price today for having this raspberry vanilla torte last night. It took care of a week long sweet craving so in a way it's worth it (which explains to some of you the LOLCats photo post on my myspace page).

The Scoop

Okay, I have all of the new stuff uploaded, with the older stuff repriced. Now I have to work on getting goodie bags up as freebies and start working on the archives, getting those with expired links off the site and later replaced with good links. Hang in there with me, big job but it's gotta be done. I have been tempted just to retire everything and start fresh but I don't have the heart to. I may skip some things, there's just so many things I worked hard on to create that it's like leaving a child behind. Soooo....

(The free items are not at 4shared.com but at Lulu in my store, you'll find them really easy to use. It's a nice webcommunity, not just a store. Plus as a designer, I don't have to meet demands of other sites like collab kits and site activity. Here I just design, upload and sell.)

I'm putting off templates for a bit longer though this week there will be a new thing here and there.

Two More New Kits and GOOD NEWS!!

Here are two more kits that I have finished. I'm working on goodie bags, quick pages or mini-kits as freebies, with the full kits of these past previews being available in my Lulu store.

The good news is that I now have high-speed again so no more dial up dragging me down. Once I get the new out of the way, the archives will get replaced with fresh links. I do have 90% or better of all my creations so I don't think I'll need to locate any lost files. What I have recovered from crashes should be sufficient to keep everyone happy.

Templates will be back soon too, not sure if it'll be an every day kind of thing like it was or if I'll have a handful up thru the week.

I have two more kits that I'm fininishing, a bumble bee themed kit and one called "At Sea".

When's all of this coming about? Next week sometime. I have carpet guys coming to replace this really nasty carpet in my new place (the house used to be a rental and they had German Sheppards they never let outside). I have a ton of furniture just sitting in the garage waiting to be moved in. Then life should resume back to what I know as my normal, and I use that term loosely. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about and also have the same kind of normal I do.

Anyone wanting to have access to my store kits to do quick pages? Email me with your kit of choice with a 2nd choice and I'll draw names. One person per kit. How's that sound??

Other New Kits

Here are 3 new kits I have finished. Freebie grab bags will be made from the kits and uploaded when I have the internet connection. As you can see, I haven't been ignoring my habit (LOL). I have other goodies too, like alphas and element sets and of course templates. These kits are headed for the store eventually.

I KNOW....

Yep, Filefront deleted EVERYTHING. Sorry, my fault. Without internet, I can't get on to see what's needing attention and missed my window to keep the files from being deleted.

I just got my new place Wednesday, so moving right along... once settled I'll get these back up. Check back in July to see if I was able to get these back up.
